Here are a list of authors whose books I'll buy, borrow, somehow read
all of their books.
1. J.K. Rowling
2. John Green
The first book I read by John Green was The Fault in Our Stars. Since then, I've bought
3. James Patterson
James Patterson has SOOOO many books! I haven't read all of them, but it's something that I'm working on. He comes out with books all the time - if I'm not buying them, I'm definitely borrowing them. He's my favorite author and I will always be buying his books.
4. Christina Lauren
5. Anna Todd
Although a newer author, Anna Todd has had her books published on Wattpad for some time now. I read the original versions of her books - and I'm working my way through the published versions (as names have changed and new details have been added). I bought the entire After series without even thinking about it. Last I heard she may have other works coming out at some point - and I cannot wait to read more from her!
6. David Baldacci
Also a brilliant writer! He writes a favorite genre of mine - murder mysteries (/mystery in general!). Another author who I'm working on reading all of his books. Much like Patterson, I think he is a gifted storyteller and I can't wait to work through all of them.
7. Gillian Flynn
If you read Gone Girl but haven't read Dark Places or Sharp Objects you definitely should. It's amazing to me how someone can write such twisted stories that keep you guessing until the very end. But I've read all three of these books and sincerely hope that someday there are more of her books to read.
8. Veronica Roth
One word: DIVERGENT!!!!! This series was incredibly amazing - I think I finished the whole thing in about a week. If she ever writes anything else - I am definitely going to buy/read it!
9. Nicholas Sparks
Although his books are all roughly the same in terms of the pieces to build the novel. But I love every single one of his books that I read. I end up crying and getting all sorts of feels. I love the love stories that he writes.
10. John Grisham
Although they sometimes take some time to actually get into the book, I've enjoyed every John Grisham book that I've read. They're so intense and fun. They seem so real. My favorite would definitely have to be Sycamore Row or The Chamber.
Stayed tuned for next week's version of Top Ten Tuesday!
