Miscellaneous Monday - Favorite Book Covers

"You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover" this applies to books and also people. Today, we're going to look at it from a book perspective. I've done this - I've picked up books with interesting covers that I didn't like, or books with bland covered that turned out to be amazing stories. The cover isn't everything - and often times I wish the cover was blank so we could only focus on the story and not the artwork surrounding it. But I digress. With that I give you, some of my favorite book covers.

Say what you will about the writing - but one thing Stephanie Meyer did right were the covers of her books. I find them simple, yet creative in nature.

 

Absolutely love the cover of The Great Gatsby - it's so artistic!

These next two covers I think speak so much about the books (especially after reading and knowing what they're about).

I love how artistic these next two covers are - they give away much of the story, but again it's not something you realize until you read and understand what it's really about.
